Individual Bearing Replacement
Individual pivot bearings are for those wanting to replace just a few at a time. Pivot frames are designed to last many years without needing to replace bearings. We rarely see situations where upper linkage bearings to be replaced. However, if you live in an extremely wet climate and/or hose the bike down often, lower linkage bearings may need to be replaced on occasion. Fortunately, we have made these extremely easy to replace if the proper process is followed. These Max bearings are the highest level offered by Enduro and feature custom extended inner race that eliminates the need for spacers easing assembly and service.
Enduro Max bearings have 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings thanks to a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing rather than being separated by a cage. The MAX designation stands for the maximum number of balls. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings for more lateral support for the twisting and multiple forces associated with mountain bike pivots. LLU seals give maximum protection against the elements with dual lip seal riding in a groove on the inner race. The increased seal pressure and 2 lips help retain the 90% Almagard Extra High-Pressure grease fill.
